Alissa has over 14 years of construction experience. She has a wide area of expertise, with experience in planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction activities for extensive projects. As a Master Plumber and Certified Building Contractor, Ms. Loatman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to BFA.

Ms. Loatman began her career as a plumber’s apprentice in 2007. In 2008 she was accepted into the plumbing/pipefitting and HVAC apprenticeship. During her 5 years as an apprentice, she worked on many different jobsites doing plumbing, mechanical and HVAC jobs. She completed her apprenticeship in 2013. She then worked as a building trades journeyman on jobsites around Jacksonville and working in-house for repairs at multiple hospitals and facilities around Jacksonville. Alissa obtained her Master Plumber license in 2020 and then obtained her Certified Building Contractor license.

Alissa is a proud member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape American Indian Tribe. The BFA logo is a tribute to her native American roots and was inspired by the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape tribal symbol.

Mr. Grooms graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, and a Minor in Business

Mr. Grooms has over 12 years of Project Management and Estimating experience. Terrance is responsible for overseeing, inspecting and coordinating construction jobs, from initial site inspection to the final walk through/product delivery. His experience ranges from planning and estimating, to developing, coordinating and managing on-site construction activities for large commercial and residential projects, as well as Federal contracts. In addition, Terrance effectively provides technical engineering information and communication to employees and staff on multiple job sites.
